How do I book a vaccine appointment?

You'll usually be contacted by your GP surgery when you or your child is due for a routine vaccination. This could be a letter, text, phone call or email.

If you know you or your child is due for a vaccination, you can speak to your GP surgery to book the appointment. You do not need to wait to hear from them.

Speak to your GP surgery if:

  • you think you or your child have missed any vaccinations.
  • you or your child have a vaccination appointment – but you've missed it or cannot attend.

Your GP surgery can book or rearrange an appointment. It's best to have vaccines on time, but you can still catch up on most vaccines if you miss them.
