Physical Activity Guidelines

There is strong scientific evidence that being physically active can help you lead a healthier and even happier life.

Physical activity has been shown to boost:

  • self-esteem
  • mood
  • improve sleep quality
  • increase energy
  • reduce the risk of stress, depression, dementia and even some cancers.

The good news is, with some simple changes you can easily be physically active throughout the day.

The key thing is to move more! Start with little changes, some movement is better than no movement at all!
