Where can I go / who can I talk to for support?

Buckinghamshire CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service)

Buckinghamshire CAMHS can help children and young people up to 18 who are finding it hard to cope with everyday life because of difficult feelings, behaviour or relationships.

Under 16

If you're under 16, you can speak to your GP, School Health Nurse or teacher who can get in touch. Any other professional who works with you like a social worker, counsellor or youth worker can also contact CAMHS to find out how they can help you.

16-17 year olds

You can refer yourself to CAMHS. You can call them from 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday to speak to a trained member of the team who will ask you some questions and talk to you about how CAMHS can help. If you would prefer, you can ask your School Nurse or teacher to get in touch with them directly.

18+

If you're 18 and over, Healthy Minds Bucks offers a range of free, tried and tested NHS psychological therapies. If you're registered with a Buckinghamshire GP, you can refer yourself directly to them online or over the phone.
